We lost Carl Reiner yesterday. Ninety-eight years old and an inarguable giant in the development of comedy over the last 70 years. The enabler of Sid Caesar, the biographical father of the Dick Van Dyke Show, the patron of Mary Tyler Moore, the partner of Mel Brooks, the father of Meathead and so much, much more.
