The Gunpowder River network runs for 60 miles or so across the State of Maryland, beginning in southern Pennsyvania in the west and draining into the Chesapeake Bay in the east. Somewhere along its meandering run, Mrs. F and I were pleasantly enjoying the first years of our retirement when this corona thing happened. We spent some time (85 days, actually) recording a casual chronicle of our self-quarantine. Then it got boring.

After a brief hiatus to relocate and recharge, we’re back. We don’t live on the Gunpowder anymore, but there are bodies of water around here, too. The Big Assawoman Bay, for one. However, Big Assawoman Rebellion doesn’t quite evoke the right imagery, so we’re sticking with Gunpowder Rebellion. Besides, we already have pictures that work for that and won’t get me hauled into HR.
